The Story Behind StayTrue with Kayro

Why StayTrue was created

My daughter started asking AI questions about things she didn’t want to talk about with us — or with her friends. As a certified Life Coach, I know this is completely natural
some things we simply don’t want to share with anyone.
And honestly:
I would much rather have her put her thoughts into words
— even with an AI —
than keep everything unspoken inside.
Because putting thoughts into words creates clarity.
Clarity creates emotional strength.
And it brings relief, reflection, and self-understanding.
So I took a closer look at the answers the AI was giving. And I realised: it already does a pretty good job.But if teens open up to AI — it should be built with care, clear boundaries, and intention. So I created a version designed specifically for teenagers:- clearer boundaries
- safer conversations
- coaching-based reflection
- language they actually understand
When she tried it, something changed. She felt understood. And I noticed she started opening up more to me
with her thoughts already sorted out.
That is how StayTrue was born.
